Dr. Abel Manoj Abraham is an accomplished ophthalmologist with more than two decades behind him. He, after his post-graduation, got specialized training and fellowship in anterior segment surgery and phacoemulsification. He was trained in glaucoma from the leading ophthalmology institutes in India. A compassionate and kind person with a keen mind for finesse, Dr. Abel imbibed the essence of Lifeline Hospitals, Oman. In his earlier stint Dr. Abel worked from 2013 to 2020 in Salalah.
Dr. Abel has over the years attended many conferences at national and international level. Raising the public awareness about eye health and the many methods to achieve this has been his passion. He has been able to reach out to the public in this endeavor through television and out-reach programs. Conducting regular eye camps in India to cater the needs of the not-so fortunate, Dr. Abel has been able to sense and feel the pulse of the common man.
Work Experience:
Dr. Abel in his career worked with the world’s best hospitals in India and has honed his skill in diagnosing and treating ophthalmic diseases with special emphasis on glaucoma, uveitis, neuro-ophthalmology and orbit. He has headed the glaucoma unit in world class hospitals and worked in hospitals catering to the common man.
